About Sohum

So'ham — I am That.

Sohum is a Sanskrit mantra meaning "I am That" — a reminder of our connection to the breath, ourselves, and the world around us.

At Sohum Yoga, yoga is more than movement. It is a practice of returning to yourself through breath, awareness, and consistent effort. Every class is designed to help you build a practice that strengthens both the body and the mind — one breath at a time.

Meet Your Teacher

Aishwarya Devade

My journey with yoga has been one of discipline, curiosity, and continuous learning.

As a 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher certified by The Yoga Institute and an active Ashtanga practitioner, I teach yoga in a way that feels approachable and supportive.

My classes focus on breath, alignment, strength, flexibility, and helping you build a sustainable self-practice — not just during class, but beyond it.

What your practice will give you

Yoga isn't about becoming more flexible. It's about becoming more present.

With regular practice, you'll begin to experience:

  • A stronger, more mobile body

  • Better posture and flexibility

  • Calm, steady breathing

  • Greater focus and mental clarity

  • A consistent routine that supports everyday life

  • Confidence in your own self-practice

The goal isn't to perfect every pose. It's to keep showing up.

Why Yoga Sadhana?

Yoga has been my anchor through every season of life.

Whether I was navigating setbacks, celebrating victories, or simply searching for clarity, returning to the mat always brought me back to myself.

That is what I hope to share with every student. Not just a yoga class — but a practice that stays with you long after you step off the mat.
